Indicaciones:
– Profilaxis de la enfermedad tromboembólica venosa en pacientes quirúrgicos con riesgo moderado o alto, en particular en aquellos sometidos a cirugía ortopédica o cirugía general incluyendo cirugía oncológica.
-Profilaxis de la enfermedad tromboembólica venosa en pacientes médicos con una enfermedad aguda (como insuficiencia cardiaca aguda, insuficiencia respiratoria, infecciones graves o enfermedades reumáticas) y movilidad reducida con un aumento del riesgo de tromboembolismo venoso.
-Tratamiento de la trombosis venosa profunda (TVP) y embolismo pulmonar (EP), excluyendo el EP que probablemente requiera tratamiento trombolítico o cirugía.
-Prevención de la formación de coágulos en el circuito de circulación extracorpórea durante la hemodiálisis.
